The Quilting and Needle Art Extravaganza is a Great Day Out

for any Quilter, Sewer or Knitter

December might find us cleaning, ordering gifts, wrapping and baking, but the New Year is the time to treat ourselves to a new project and indulge our creative spirits.  January is the time to burrow into our sewing rooms and combine fabric, thread and yarn into a new project.  Visitors to the Quilting and Needle Art Extravaganza will find just the right supplies and inspiration to keep busy most of the winter.  The QNAE dates are Friday, Jan. 31 and Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014 from 9 am – 5 pm each day.   The location is The Statesville Civic Center, 300 South Center St., Statesville, NC.  Easily accessible from both I-40 and I-77, Statesville is the perfect small town in Piedmont NC for your “Day Out” adventure. You won’t have any big city traffic headaches here, just lots of vendors with booths full of fabric, yarn, buttons, vintage textiles, sewing machines, notions and much more for your shopping pleasure. Bring your friends, shop for a while and then enjoy our on-site restaurant, Risto’s, for a bite or treat yourself to something sweet and a cup of coffee from Peachy’s Baked Goods.

Each visitor will be registered for hourly door prizes and a huge gift basket at the end of the show.  Each day at 3 pm, Sew Original from Winston Salem, NC and Studio Stitch from Greensboro, NC will be giving away a Bernina sewing machine.  If you are one of the first 100 people in the door each day, you will receive two chances to win!
