We had a family get together this weekend. We had a chance to catch up, meet a new friend and share some hugs. Here is our momma by her glorious azalea.
Hello Everyone,
We had a great time at our last “Show and Tell” event. We enjoyed it so much that we are going to do it again. If you came last time, join us again. We learned a few things. We have purchased some tents, so you won’t have to sit in the sun.
Did you miss it?
Save the Date for our next “Show and Tell” Event
Friday, April 23 and Saturday, April 24, 2021
We had such a good time, we are going to do it again. If you came the first time, come back to visit again. Bring your quilts again. We look forward to seeing you. Bring all the quilts and quilt tops that you have made. Bring a yard chair. We’ll be outside at the barn. Assuming that the weather cooperates, it should be a fun day. (If the weather is cold or rainy, we’ll reschedule. We’ll be here rain or shine, but use your judgement.) We’ll have refreshments. We’ll still be careful. We’ll be respectful of space. We’ll do another event later if you are not comfortable being out yet. Plan to arrive about 10ish and we’ll start the Show and Tell at 11ish. It will be helpful if you let us know you are coming, so we can prepare enough muffins, but a reservation is not required. Someone asked, “Can we shop?” Yes, by all means! Shopping is encouraged!
We are located off of I 40, midway between Mocksville and Statesville, NC. Call for directions. Join us for a day in the country.
We haven’t gotten a lot of sewing done this week. Other things have eaten up out time. How did we ever go to work everyday? As you know, we are working on our church yard sale. The money we raise goes for college scholarships. If you would like to bring items for the yard sale, we will gladly accept them. We are looking for basic household items like sheets and towels and kitchen items. We sell a lot of old suitcases. Please do not bring random electronics. Don’t even think about bringing that old treadmill that’s taking up space in your sewing room.
Our church is Cool Spring UMC. 1902 Mocksville Hwy., Cleveland, NC. (About 6 miles east of Statesville, NC)
The dates for the Yard Sale and Plant Sale are May 7 and 8, 2021. Our tomato plants are growing. Plan to come. There is just no telling what you will find.
Call or text Cindy – 704-376-2531 if you would like to order anything, rsvp for the show and tell or make an appointment to shop. Taxes and shipping will be added to orders. Remember, we do not have a shopping cart on our website. If you need us for anything, call and make a shopping appointment.
Shopping Time
You can always make an appointment for any time that suits you by calling Cindy at the number above. We would love to see you. Call us if you need directions. We are located off I-40 between Statesville and Mocksville, NC.
Shop Hop Photos
I don’t have all the names and pattern info, so just enjoy the show.
This is the back of the quilt.
Joy!
I think that is what we felt while we were looking at everyone’s quilts. So much talent. So many of you are so creative and so many of you are so generous. Many of these quilts were gifts or donation quilts.
Come to see us this week. Bring what you are working on to show us.
Call Cindy – 704-376-2531 if you would like to order anything or make an appointment to shop.

“My name is Wilbur. Everyone asks about Curly, but nobody asks about me. By the way, Curly is feeling better. I’m just as special as he is. I like carrots too. Please come visit me”.
