Got Programs?
The Quilter’s Gallery was a full service quilt shop in Charlotte, NC for over 25 years. We closed our shop in 2006 and now we are on the road doing quilt shows, guild programs and workshops. We have gotten the nickname, “The Pizza Girls”, because of our fabric packaging. Our specialty is making kits, coordinating fabrics for maximum impact for each project, and packaging then to look like pizzas.
We love to do programs for quilting guilds.
Our most popular program is our “Show and Tell”. We bring our current selection of quilts and quilt tops, usually about 50 or more for your pleasure. Some are samples of current patterns and and some are our original designs. As we go through the quilts, we discuss color, creative fabric use and simple border treatments along with lots of tips and tricks that we have learned in the past 25+ years. Everyone needs new ideas. We hope that our show will inspire you to start a new project or two. We also bring our fabric collections, patterns, rulers, and kits to sell after the “show and tell’. It’s like having a quilt shop set up at your meeting. You provide a few tables and we will set up a quilting buffet.
We charge a $195.00 fee for the guild program plus mileage*.
*Mileage is charged at IRS rate, roundtrip from Statesville, NC.
We try to make the trip a “same day” trip if possible, even if it means getting up reallllly early, or getting home a little late, in order to save you hotel fees. However, depending on the distance traveled and the time of your meeting, (consideration is given to anything over 4 hours total) we may require additional fees to cover travel time and meals on the road as well as overnight lodging.
If you are interested in a program, give us a call at 704-807-6992 or 704-376-2531 and we will add you to our calendar.
