This is a big weekend for us.
The Quilting and Needle Art Extravaganza is this Friday and Saturday at the Civic Center in Statesville, NC. Those of you that have attended know that all our vendors put their best foot forward to show you a good time. Nothing cures “Cabin Fever” like a big day of retail therapy.

at the Statesville Civic Center

You will be greeted at the door by our bakery. Dorcas Troyer is busy baking bread and cakes for you to take home. 220 Cafe will be on down the hall with soups and sandwiches. Everything you need is right in the building, so plan to spend all day with us.
Bull Town Fabrics from Durham will have fabric.
Conover Quilt Company will have fabrics, Necchi and Eversewn sewing machines. Also Innova and Grace Longarm machines.

The main roads here are fine. We will be rocking and rolling on Friday. We are still watching the weather reports for Saturday. We want everyone to be safe. Some of our vendors have longer distances to travel. If conditions are questionable on Saturday, please check with us first.

Most of you know that Cindy and I live on a farm that has been in our family for 5 generations. We don’t know the first thing about a tractor but we know a good thing when we see it. Josh and Brandi Teague are using our farm to raise locally grown 100% Grass Fed Beef. This is the way farming should be done. They don’t use antibiotics or hormones. Pasture are regenerating under their watchful eye.
