Summer is almost over. I am loving this cooler weather . We are busy in the barn. Folding fabric and making fabric packs but not much sewing is getting done. I did straighten up some things so that I could get started if I wanted to. Next week we will start stetting up for the
White Elephant Sale, Part III.
Everyone was so generous in the spring. Quilters donated so much from their sewing rooms and SO SO much from their hearts. With your help we were able to donate an unbelievable amount of money to the Creston Fire Department in Ashe Co. NC. They were able to make several capital purchases with the money from your donations.
BUT WE STILL HAVE 2 SUNDAY SCHOOL ROOMS FULL OF THINGS THAT NEED TO BE SOLD.
Things will be marked to go. Help us bless someone else. Please tell your quilting friends about the sale. Please plan to attend.

Quilters of SC Pieceable Retreat
Oct. 24 – 26, 2025
Myrtle Beach, SC
We will be vending and teaching at this event. I will be teaching Round and Round (15 degrees). We will be vending in the Conference Center at The Double Tree Hotel, 3200 S. Ocean Blvd., Myrtle Beach, SC. Dates are Thursday, Oct. 23, we will be there late afternoon that day. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 24 and 25, 2025. We will be there from 9am to 5pm(ish). Hours can vary a little bit so give us a call if you need to clarify.

Most of you know that Cindy and I live on a farm that has been in our family for 5 generations. We don’t know the first thing about a tractor but we know a good thing when we see it. Josh and Brandi Teague are using our farm to raise locally grown 100% Grass Fed Beef. This is the way farming should be done. They don’t use antibiotics or hormones. Pasture are regenerating under their watchful eye.
