Hello Everyone,
We’ve been out of touch for a while. We’ve been busy with our 97 year old momma. Over the past couple of months, she has transitioned from independence to hospital stay to rehab and now she is finally settled in assisted living. Life can be a roller coaster sometimes. I’m sure many of you have been on the same ride that we have been on.
Asheville Quilt Show
Join us this Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Asheville. There will be great quilts and great shopping. We would love to see you in person and find out what you have been doing.
In case you have ever wondered, this is what it looks like to set up a quilt booth…
First, you have to load and unload a van with all your stuff.
Then you have to carry it inside to your booth. First thing to do is hang the quilts. Then you arrange your tables and shelves. Then you start putting out your merchandise. We will have it all organized by 9am Thursday morning when you get here.

Most of you know that Cindy and I live on a farm that has been in our family for 5 generations. We don’t know the first thing about a tractor but we know a good thing when we see it. Josh and Brandi Teague are using our farm to raise locally grown 100% Grass Fed Beef. This is the way farming should be done. They don’t use antibiotics or hormones. Pasture are regenerating under their watchful eye.

Donkey News
Wilbur gott all dressed up for the 4th of July.
Mr. Carson is not crazy about dressing up, but he went along with it.
Lady Mary was not going to be outdone. She joined in the festivities too.
