Our next class is Winner’s Bouquet.
Hello Everyone,
We had a great time in Atlanta.  Everyone was so nice.  The quilts were beautiful.  We are looking forward to going back in 2024.
We are in Raleigh right now.  We did a guild program tonight and have 2 workshops to do this weekend.I’m teaching 15 degrees and Cindy is teaching Jack’s Chain.

Our class dates are June 24 and 25, 2022.  Cindy will be teaching Winner’s Bouquet.  It’s another curves class.  It is a good design to consider if you need a wedding quilt.  It has curves like a double wedding ring, but it is much simpler to piece.  This is a great “stash buster” and we all have leftover pieces we’d like to use creatively.  This is a great beginner curves class, gentle curves that are quick and easy.  Pattern has the instructions for wallhanging to king size.
Class is $38.00 and the template is $30.00.

This version has the corners dark and the centers a light color.

This version, (forgive my paste up job),has light corners and the centers are dark.

See how it gives the appearance of a ring?  It’s really pretty done in just 2 colors like blue and white or red and white.
Here’s another scrappy version..

To register for the class, call or text Cindy at 704-376-2531.  Classes are held at Cool Spring UMC, 1902 Mocksville Highway, Cleveland, NC 27013.  That’s about 6 miles east of Statesville on Hwy. 64.
Cindy will send a supply list when you register.

The church is easily accessible from I-40 or I-77.

Class will be from 10 am-4 pm but we have the church open by 9 am so you can get set up and have a cup of coffee before we begin at 10 am.
As you know, eating lunch is an important part of the day.  Bring a sandwich or a casserole and we’ll provide sides, chips, desert and tea.

Be sure to bring your “show and tell” quilts. We love to see what you are working on.

Once you are registered, mail a check payable to The Quilter’s Gallery to 224 Woodleaf Road, Cleveland, NC  27013.  Payment is required at the time of registration to hold your space in the class.

Class dates are Friday, July 29 OR Saturday, July 30, 2022.
Class fee is $38.00 plus the pattern purchase.

This is a paste up, just to give you an idea of what the whole quilt will look like.

Call Cindy – 704-376-2531 if you would like to order anything or make an appointment to shop.  As most of you know, we are not a brick and mortar shop.  We are just a studio.
We are available by appointment.  As things start to open up, we’ll be in and out.  Call us if you need directions.  We are located off I-40 between Statesville and Mocksville, NC. Our address is 186 Page Farm Road, Cleveland, NC  27013. We are not anywhere close to Cleveland, NC, even though that is our mailing address.
My unexpected event this week was Wilbur.  Wilbur had a abscess in his hoof.  Yes, it’s just as awful as it sounds.  Imagine if you had to stand on a toothache. He could not put any weight on it.  I had to call the vet for a farm visit.  He was dragging his front leg around.  I was scared something was really wrong. I had to soak his foot in epsom salts, (Have you ever tried to get a donkey to stick his foot in a bucket of water and stand there for 10 minutes?) and wrap his ankle to reduce the swelling. I’m pleased to say he is doing much better.  The swelling has gone down and he only has a slight limp now.
Mr Carson sends his love.  He stepped on my foot.  Now I’m the one ;limping.
It’s gonna be hot this week, so just go inside and sew.
