Hello Everyone,
Wilbur is already celebrating Mardi Gras. He has his Mardi Gras beads and his costume. I bet you didn’t think he was part French Cajun. “Let the Good Times Roll” is how he lives his life. Maybe we could learn a lesson from a donkey.
Cindy taught the Jack’s Chain class this past weekend. I think everyone did very well. We’ll keep you posted on their progress. I have “show and tell” pictures at the bottom of this newsletter.
We have added an additional date for this class.

March Class in Cool Spring
I’ll be teaching My Kinda Townhere, on Friday, March 25, and Saturday, March 26, 2022. Class fee is $38 plus pattern. ($32) This is a paper pieced pattern. If you are a beginner at paper piecing, you will start with a simple tree. If you are a more experienced paper piecer, you will jump right in. Start collecting fun fabrics for happy houses. You will only get one house finished on class day, so don’t sweat the preparation. Picking out the fabrics as you go is part of the fun.
To register for the class, call or text Cindy at 704-376-2531. Classes are held at Cool Spring UMC. 1902 Mocksville Highway, Cleveland, NC 27013. That’s about 6 miles east of Statesville on Hwy. 64.
Cindy will send a supply list when you register.
The church is easily accessible from I-40 or I-77.
Class will be from 10 am-4 pm but we have the church open by 9 am so you can get set up and have a cup of coffee before we begin at 10 am.
As you know, eating lunch is an important part of the day. You bring a sandwich or a casserole and we’ll provide sides, chips, desert and tea.
Be sure to bring your “show and tell” quilts. We love to see what you are working on.
Once you are registered, mail a check payable to The Quilter’s Gallery to 224 Woodleaf Road, Cleveland, NC 27013. Payment is required at the time of registration to hold your space in the class.

Our April class is going to be Curves. Dates are April 15 or 16, 2022.
Piecing curves opens up a whole range of new design options.
You can make something traditional and scrappy like this Love Ring.
You can do something modern like this Rainbow Curves.
This one, Curves and Corners, combines simple 1/2 squares and vibrant curves.
Class will be $40. That will include 2 precut sample blocks for practice and handouts. Templates for curves are available at class. Our favorite template, 8″ Rainbow curves is $24.95.
May Dates
May Class dates are May 27 and 28, 2022.
We are going to make this Feathered Star block. I love the way a Feathered Star looks.
This one is pretty simple. We will cover 1/2 squares, 1/4 squares and flippy corners.
Here is another version of this block, featuring some French General fabrics.
Class will be $38 and include handouts.
June Dates

This is the sweetest panel ever.
There are 6 sweet blocks in each panel.
This is the border print. It repeats 4 times across the fabric.
The larger stripe with the llama and the baby lamb is almost 5′ wide.
We will have these fabrics and the coordinates available in Charleston and Raleigh.

Show and Tell
Here are pictures from our class “show and tell” last weekend.
I don’t know all the names of the quilts, so just enjoy the pictures.
This was a class from last summer. We called it March Madness.
This was from last summer also, We called it Star Chain.
Michelle brought her series of string quilts to share.
Barbara M brought her Jack’s Chain to class.
AND she brought the second one that she made.
All the quilts were gorgeous. Always bring something to share when you come.
