Fruit Burst will be our class in September.
Dates are September 13 or 14, 2024
Hello Quilters,
End of summer greetings. With things cooling down, it seems there is a bit more time and energy for sewing. Cindy and I have both gotten some new things almost finished. Photos are below. We have also been working on our two shows. The Quilting and Fiber Art Marketplace show in Sanford is almost full and The Quilting and Needle Art Extravaganza in Statesville is full. I think you are going to enjoy our returning vendors and the new vendors that will be there. For the next month we will be getting fabric ready for the Asheville Quilt show. Mark your calendars for September 26 – 28, 2024.
Mardell just posted the website for Myrtle Beach Quilt Party, January 16, 17, 18,2025. We have taught at this event for many years and it is always a good time. The website is mbqp.info. Take a look all the classes that are being offered.
Cindy will be teaching Joseph’s Coat. (She’s tired of Jack’s Chain, so she picked another challenge.)
I’m doing something easy. I’m teaching the Sparrows quilt.
There are lots of other classes from which to choose. Don’t wait to register, the classes fill up quiltckly.

Farm News
Runningtbeef.com
Most of you know that Cindy and I live on a farm that has been in our family for 5 generations. We don’t know the first thing about a tractor but we know a good thing when we see it. Josh and Brandi Teague are using our farm to raise locally grown 100% Grass Fed Beef. This is the way farming should be done. They don’t use antibiotics or hormones. Pasture are regenerating under their watchful eye.
They ship beef all over the US. Check out their website, or find them on Facebook or Utube.
Call Cindy – 704-376-2531 if you would like to order anything.
As most of you know, we are not a brick and mortar shop. We are just a studio.
We are available by appointment. Call us if you need directions. We are located off I-40 between
Statesville and Mocksville, NC.
Our address is 186 Page Farm Road, Cleveland, NC 27013.
We are not anywhere close to Cleveland, NC, even though that is our mailing address.

Donkey News
Wilbur had a busy Labor Day. You might not know it, but there’s a lot to do when you are a donkey. We hope you enjoyed your holiday too.
We still have a few spaces available at our Sanford show. If you know of a shop that you think would benefit from our show, please encourage them to contact us. We have always tried to feature local shops at our show, and this year we would like to make some spaces available for a couple of local long arm quilters. If you would like a space to show your work and talk to potential customers,
at a reasonable rate, please give me a call.
Patti – 704-807-6992.
